As part of a small design team I was intimately involved in every aspect of the design of Hand of Fate 2. We greatly increased the scope for the sequel across all areas. One area of special attention for me was that player equipment had functionality both inside and outside of combat, this made game balance a significant undertaking.

  • Designed 5 of the game’s ‘Challenges’ (about 20% of content).

  • Designed almost all equipment.

  • Designed A.I. rules and abilities for 3 enemy races (Northerners, Empire and Corrupted).
