
Championship Manager (2005 - 2008)
Championship Manager has been constant presence in my personal and professional life. I started playing it in 1996 and I still play it’s current evolution (Football Manager 2020). It is one of the reasons I was so excited to become a Q.A. Technician at Eidos in 2001. My dedication and expertise meant that when Eidos started a new development team I was transferred from the publisher QA department to become Lead Tester at the new developer, Beautiful Game Studios. I manged our internal QA team and liaised with our publisher. I became an Associate Producer and helped oversee a a quick increase in the critical rating of the game in its 2006 and 2007 editions. I was key in working with our localisation teams in shipping the game simultaneously in 15 different language SKUs, a first in the games’ history.
